Art in Bloom at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts
Boston comes alive in the spring. All the flowers are blooming and Bostonians shake off their winter blues and flock outdoors. And for one weekend in April the Museum of Fine Arts hosts its annual Art in Bloom. This special event is a local favorite. New England area garden clubs are paired with pieces of art throughout the museum to create a floral interpretation. Moving from wing to wing, museum patrons can enjoy the garden club creations. This event is very short lived due to the delicacy of the floral arrangements. Art in Bloom is included in your general admission to the museum, with an option for ticketed events with master florists.
Art in Bloom is truly special and the event always draws high attendance. It is something to be seen and experienced. I genuinely look forward to it every year.
